This was our first trip to Belfast and were delighted with our 1 night stay at The Holiday Inn Belfast. Staff: were exceptionally friendly, helpful and available during our stay and we felt very welcome and valued. Anna served us in the restaurant and Lilly and Jack looked after us at reception. Food: We had evening dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The dinner menu was good value, the food was lovely and children eat free which was a great saver. we also got a free 'treat' card for the kids and they could choose from a selection of treats at the cafe bar. This was a lovely touch. Breakfast was full of choice and catered for everyone's tastes, the food was delicious and plenty available. The fresh orange juice was particularly good. Room: Our room was sufficient for our needs, not overly big - there are no views as such around the hotel due to its location. We had our 2 daughters age 10 and 15 with us and the sofa bed was ready for them next to our bed which was fine and as we requested. With a busy day out we didn't spend much time in the room. both the room, bathroom and shower were spotless. Parking: there is no parking available at the hotel property but across the road there is a multi-storey car park which served the hotel at a discounted rate available at the hotel reception. Area: Across the road from the hotel is Great Victoria Street station which leads out on to Great Victoria Street next to the Grand Opera House. Across that street and up a couple of blocks is Belfast city Hall and all the high street shopping stores, restaurants, coffee shops, bars etc. A beautiful city with lots to see and do. Wish we had more time there but we will definitely be back again.

The location of the hotel was perfect, as was proximity to the main coach and rail station opposite and about one minute walk. The lobby was bright and inviting, and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was on the 8th floor and very quiet apart from some noise at the back of the hotel about 6.00 to 7.00 in the morning but this was easily rectified by shutting the windows. We never ate here, so I can't comment, but we did have a nightcap at the bar last thing and felt well relaxed. The famous pub The Crown was just around the corner as there were lots of quality restaurants. The hotel was very busy with parties of customers from overseas but this did not cause any problems (noise, queues etc). All in all, a perfect place to stay, we thoroughly recommend it if you want easy access to the centre of Belfast.

Excellent hotel. I was travelling for work and needed somewhere quiet with good wifi. The room was comfortable and quiet and the wifi worked very well and was easy to get onto. Staff were lovely and the hotel was very clean. The bathroom products were great - all non-allergic and high-quality. Breakfast was very nice but always very busy. Hotel food was very good and reasonable. I particularly liked the "take out" option which was very handy to be able to work and eat in the evening - also just nice to not have to go to the restaurant after a long day.

Location of hotel was very convenient to city centre. The bus station across the street has an indoor mall with a few excellent cafes with very reasonable prices. The ability to have a late check out was very helpful.Usually a late check out is noon but we were offered a 2pm checkout time.We have never experienced that before in any other hotel we stayed at. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. When we had a mix up with type of room provided, problem was corrected immediately and complimentary drinks were offered as a courtesy.

Excellent location a few minutes walk from central Belfast. Bright and airy with seating area in reception, bar area and separate dining/breakfast area. Quirky decor, art and photos added character to this modern hotel. There were always staff available at reception and they were well trained, helpful and friendly. A wide choice of continental and cooked breakfasts and selection of evening meals. Two lifts, comfortable room, gym on site.
